M Modern will host the Pussycats, Dolls & Vixens group show with an opening on April 25th, 2009 [7-9:30 PM] in Palm Springs.  The show is a tribute to late sexploitation film director Russ Meyer and features new original work from Shag, Glenn Barr, the Pizz (above), Travis Lampe, Bwana Spoons, Joey Remmers and more. It’ll be interesting to see how the artists interpret Meyer’s over-the-top style featuring extremely well-endowed female leads.  Adding to the event,  Kitten Natividad and other women from Meyer’s films will be making a special appearance at the opening.
