I’ll be participating in a group show as a part of the Human Pyramids Artist Collective called Foreign Affairs coming up May 14 (7-10 pm) at AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA. We’ll be there in full attendance hanging out excited to see other HP artists from Spain, France, and USA. Sponsors include: Juxtapoz, Ambiguous Clothing, and Marquez de Valencia Tequila.
(Laguna Beach, CA) AR4T Gallery presents an exciting new exhibition, Foreign Affairs, featuring works by members and friends of the Human Pyramids Artist Collective, on view May 5–30, 2011.
Foreign Affairs features works by an international roster of artists, some of whom have never exhibited in the United States but possess devoted followings in their native regions. This highly-anticipated show demonstrates the relationship of ideas on art and culture between a group of artists/friends from diverse backgrounds.
Participating artists include Ben Brough (USA), Hovin Wang (USA), Teddy Kelly (Mexico), Pjota (Brazil), Philip Evans (Ireland), Michael Hsiung (USA), Mari Araki (Japan), The Love Movement (USA), Tiffany Liu (USA), Soy Panday (France), Pato Conde (Spain), Pacolli & Mildred (Brazil & USA), Claudia Marclay (Switzerland), Guillaume Jolly (France), Todd Bratrud (USA), Antoine Corbineau (France), Brooke Weeber (USA), Noel Ill (USA), and Teri Hendrich (USA).

Human Pyramids collaborator and artist Patricia Coli aka Pacolli recently posted up a cool video from Volcom featuring a featured artist show they did in Sao Paulo, Brazil 2010. Some artist included: Apo Fousek, Pacolli, Fabiano Lokinho, Pjota, Todd Bratrud, Shawn Barney Barron, Devon Green, Ethan Anderson, Hovin Wang, Mike Zepeda + Elma (band) . .

After a traumatic near-death experience todd, sam an horsey head home, and Fos goes back to the UK due to a family emergency. Death is knocking and the road starts to take its toll. Still the group meets some locals, and makes it to Denver, CO for some skateboarding fun.

Another awesome installment which brings me happy memories from the One Way or Another tour, a traveling art show that involved skating, camping and art. Click on the image above to watch the video. Filmed, directed, and edited by Corey Adams.
Following the successful first showing in Los Angeles, the crew awakes from a night of after-party excitement and regroups to take down the show they worked so hard to display just one day previous. Nervous and unsure of what to expect, they head east through Las Vegas to find what it was that got them into this in the first place.

Color Magazine along with Machotaildrop Director Corey Adams presents Episode One from the One Way or Another (Artists Who Smell Like Skateboarders) Skateboarding/Art Show. Various artists working within the skateboarding industry, such as Andrew Pommier, Todd Bratrud, Mark Fos Foster, and Greg PNUT Galinsky, traveled around in a van, setting up One Night art shows in Los Angeles, Kansas City, MO, and Austin, TX.

Color Magazine has sponsored a traveling skate-centric art show featuring works from Eric Anthony,Michael C. Hsiung, Todd Bratrud, Mark Fos Foster, Greg Pnut Galinsky, Ben Horton, Matt Irving,Andy Jenkins, Michael Leon, Geoff Mcfetridge, Travis Millard, Donny Miller, Mat O’Brien, Dennis McNett,Andrew Pommier, Michael Sieben. With shows in Los Angeles, Kansas City, and with their last show tonight in Austin, TX @No Comply skateshop. Below are some random text and photos as we head to Kansas City’s Escapist Shop for a one night show.
