Re-Up opening tomorrow, Friday October 16th @ Gallery 1988 SF is loaded with exciting talent – Gaia, Scribe, Dia, Mr. Jago, Deseo, Angry Woebots.  If you like street art and work influenced by it, this is definitely worth checking out.  Here’s a quick preview of some of the work in the show courtesy of the gallery, including a look at Kansas City artist Scribe’s completed wall-installation.  The full official preview will be available tomorrow @ 11 AM PDT.

MODART magazine , which has spread the word of low brow and pop surrealism throughout Europe, celebrates its 20th issue and it’s rebirth as a quarterly with an expansive group show opening this Friday, August 14th (7-11PM) @ Thinkspace.

The show will present the work of featured artist Mr. Jago (see Sour Harvest Interview) as well as a large impressive lineup including Ado Jahic, Bo130, Brooke Reidt, Chris Bourke, Christopher Lambert, Dave The Chimp, El Gato Chimney, Ephameron, Faith 47, Galo, Guillaume Desmarets, Jon Burgerman, KuKula, Landry and Limbo, Microbo, Morcky, SheOne, Stefan Strumbel, Stephen Smith (aka Neasden Control Centre), Tim Biskup, Vincent Skoglund, Will Barras and more.

Key elements of the Scrawl Collective showed off their talents for a special four-person show, Case Closed, @ Holala! in Barcelona, Spain. The work of  Mr. Jago, Will Barras Steff Plaetz, and Inkie was on display in the form of original pieces, limited-edition prints and a large scall wall mural inside the vintage clothing spot. Dailydujour was on hand and here’s our photo report submitted for your approval.
