Put another way — Captin America bearing a Cross, let the fireworks begin.   The duo is employing a multi-step process for the print  which features a 4 color stencil over a 2 color silk screen with hand applied gold leaf accents on Japanese paper.

Prints: Miss Bugs

Looks like DD favorite Miss Bugs is about to release another print set along with their upcoming show at Brooklynite gallery with Mr. Joe Black.

Print release series title:   The Faceless Art Three (triptych)
Edition:   30 (of each piece)
Size: 47cm x 70cm (ish)
Price:   USD 380 (each piece)
Medium:   5 colour aerosol stencil / 2 colour silk screen on 2mm aluminium

According to Miss: “each print is unique as they are all hand stenciled and printed by ourselves so depending on how much miss has had to drink and the level of the fumes in the print studio the pieces may differ slightly from the one in the image shown”

Sounds good to me. Contact Brooklynite for purchase.

Miss Bugs lottery for the holidays

Miss Bugs, one of our favorite (and most mysterious) artist tandems are bringing us a great little surprise for the holidays. While we are most likely ruining our chances of winning, we just had to let everyone know about their lottery for a set of aluminum  “The Heart Fell From The Art” screenprints.

What we won’t tell you is how to enter – you are going to have to go to MissBugs‘ website and figure it out for yourselves. The contest ends January 2nd, so you had better hurry.

DD loves the tongue-in-cheek combination’s of contemporary artists and cartoons that pervades MB’s work. We really wish we were in London to get a better look at first hand pastes. Someone send us some pics. Keep reading for more or take a look in our members forum to discuss.
