Junko Mizuno. Ravenous Cinderella.

Nucleus presents Zombies in Love, a dark and amorous group show opening tonight, February 6th 2010.  The show’s artist roster includes Anna Chambers, D’Holbachie-Yoko, J. Shea, Junko Mizuno, Scott C. and more. This celebration of all things undead will also feature a fun Zombie Walk @ 6:30.  Show goers are encouraged to join in with their best zombie look.   Cover fee: $2 (waived for walking zombies).  The evening will also feature Chris Lane signing his “Zombies: A Record of the Year of Infection” book and a zombie-themed life drawing session from the Dr. Sketchy’s Roadshow.

Merry Karnowsky Gallery helps celebrate Arts Month LA with Preview 2010, a group exhibition featuring artwork by Victor Castillo, Camille Rose Garcia, Mercedes Helnwein, Samuel Lowder (FrePrs), Junko Mizuno, Aiko Nakagawa, Kill Pixie (Mark Whalen), Jeff Koegel, Tino Rodriguez, Lezley Saar, Todd Schorr, Miss Van and Edward Walton Wilcox.

On Saturday, January 16th the gallery will host an After Party for the Miracle Mile Art Walk with complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and a special guest DJ.  From 930-11pm The Grilled Cheese Truck will be making grilled cheese right outside the gallery.  No RSVP is required.

This show previews a collection of works from artists which will have exhibitions running throughout the year at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery.  The group of artists vary in their style from realistic to surreal, which brings even more appeal to preview exhibition.
