Feric

Here’s a look at the Diversions group show which opened on Saturday at Giant Robot 2.  One of our trusty and awesome contributors (anonymously shy, this one is)  checked it out and sent back these shots for you all to enjoy.  The show features the work of Feric (above), Jude Buffum, Sean Chao, French, Meat Bun, Monyo Monyo and Paul Robertson.   I’m going to see if I can make it out to check out the work in person.  Feric’s  intricate work is always worth a close view as are Sean Chao’s dioramas.  Monyo Monyo’s plush masks seem curious, in a good way.  Enjoy the pics.

Scion Installation LA will present ‘Close to a World Below’ group show curated by French with an opening on Saturday, October 16th 2010 (7-10 PM).  Exploring the concept of parallel realities, the exhibition features the work of Chrissie Abbott (UK), Derek Albeck (USA), French (UK), Richard Gilligan (Ireland), Izzie Klingels (UK/USA), Ashley Lande (USA), Murdoch (Australia), Marcus Oakley (UK), and Paul Parker (UK).
