No you’re not seeing things. That is, a giant dog straddling a museum.   As part of his ‘Ain’t Painting a Pain’ exhibition at the Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach, Richard Jackson has unleashed his ‘Bad Dog!’ outdoor sculptural installation.  The 24 foot fiberglass dog does what dogs often do after a stroll, relieve itself against the side of the museum.  The humorous, over-the-top and just plain cool sculpture is the latest iteration of Jackson’s ‘painting machine’ concept; a pump installed in the dog continuously spews yellow paint towards the Museum’s exterior.
