Chris Petersen and Michael Petow – ‘Kill ‘em with Kindness’ (2.18)

Ironlak LA will present the work of Chris Petersen and Michael Petow with the opening of their ‘Kill ‘em with Kindness’ joint show (2.18).  The two friends and artists will offer up a look into their personal philosophies, in part in dealing with and disarming  an increasingly cruel world.   Petersen’s new work blends the street practice of scratched window graffiti  with his  line-work heavy style by carving directly into glass. Petow’s new work continues his mixed use of abstract patterns and organically styled text as an increasingly personal statement.   As part of the prep for the show, both artists worked on a mural installation in the gallery/store as seen in the video below.
