Seen: Chuck Close @ Blum & Poe

Renown New York-based portrait painter Chuck Close opened his largest LA solo in over a decade and a half at Blum and Poe on Saturday. The exhibition featured his larger than life portraits of fellow artists and himself, several ingenious pieces composed of individually painted circular stamps as well as two black and white woven tapestries, a stunning blend of artistry and technology.
