Seen: Gosha Levochkin — ‘Cluster Mess’

New_collection-26

LA artist Gosha Levochkin opened ‘Clutter Mess’ on Saturday evening @ Hold Up Art in Downtown LA. This was my first chance to catch his art in person and I came away impressed. The watercolor pieces relate the chaos of urban living with an appealing aesthetic that combines aspects of animation, a surreal perspective, and an unfolding urban folktale. As a nice touch, Levochkin created a sprawling wall mural with clusters of habitation linked via electrical lines. If this work appeals to you, now is the time, while pricing is extremely reasonable.
