UK Artist Hush explores duality with 15 new mixed-media paintings for Twin @ New Image Gallery. The work juxtaposes offers dual conceptions or renditions of the same general image as a means of exploring coexistence of opposite impulses and forces. Moving away from the heavy influence of Asian pop culture, the new work focuses on more traditional depictions of female beauty while still retaining Hush’s textured and layered approach.
