Last Friday night was the opening of graffiti artist SABER’s first solo show in New York, ‘The American Graffiti Artist’ at the Opera Gallery. I was fortunate enough to attend the private preview on Thursday evening. A mixture of different works of art were displayed at the show. Several pieces highlighted his graffiti tag — a bit of street art, mixed in with fine art. However, the main focus of the show were his popular American flag panels. There were also hand-embellished prints on sale at the show for $250 each. If you are interested, please contact the gallery.
