SEEN: Cole Gerst’s Turf Wars @ Ghettogloss Gallery

Multi-talented and overall creative guy, Cole Gerst aka Option-g exhibits some of his newest “acrylic, ink, duct tape, electrical tape on paper bags” works, many of which sold.  In addition, Cole has available some really nice limited edition screen prints.  Today I headed down to Ghettogloss Gallery to catch Cole Gerst’s TURF WARS before the show comes down this Saturday April 17.  The works are titled geographically for various places in Los Angeles – Echo Park, Highland Park, and etc.  Utilizing all recycled material, Cole creates some really wonderful landscapes and compositions with telephone wires, color, and animals.
