I recently caught wind of a cool show that took place at San Jose’s Anno Domini Gallery. The show, Art of Zines 2010, featured hundreds of zines from made from various artists around the world who stayed up late exacto-ing, pasting, xeroxing and making some really unique zines.  (Photographed above XL Chebang Zine).  Also at the opening, music & performance by Adam Lynn, Zoe Boekbinder (Vermillion LIes), Corpus Callosum

Some zine artists included:

Marc Arsenault, John Bobst, Silvia Chenault, Michael Foley, Ben Henderson, Chris Kardambikis, M Undead, Yumiko Miyagawa, Tomas Moniz, Kyle Pellet, Mahoney Perkins, Louis Schmidt, Matthew Seigel, Kate Steward & Meagan Zupancic, Rachel Pitler as well as Human Pyramid Artists Hovin Wang and Pjota.

Art of Zines 2010 at Anno Domini Feb. 5 – March 13, 2010

Special thanks to Cherri Lakey for the photographs!
