Swoon in Venice, Italy

Swoon’s “Swimming Cities of Serenissima” is a fleet of three hand crafted vessels navigating their way to Venice, Italy for the Bienalle this month. Well the boats and crews have arrived and were hoping to throw a little arrival shindig, but alas…

“to the great dismay of all in tents and porpoises, it’s a rainin’ here in Venezia! Tonight’s show is now officially CANCELLED for fear of electrocution via rented musical equipment and well, bad weather for an outside audience. We are still taking the boats for a ride around town and will be docking for feasting and festa-ing. The show must go on….but not until tomorrow.”

We hope the rain lets up so that Swoon and her Navy can let loose in Venice. Sail on!

For more info and news please check out the Serenissima blog here. DD will try to keep tabs for you as well!
