NJ artist Matt Dangler explores his inner spirituality with Searching for Satori, his new solo opening next Friday, May 29th 2009 (7 – 10 PM) @ Gallery1988 San Francisco.  Through serene portrayals of expressive otherworldly creatures, Dangler visualizes and gives form to his personal quest for ‘Satori’, the Zen Buddhist term for a ‘sudden spiritual awakening’.   Featuring his largest pieces to-date, Dangler considers this to be his finest show in his young career so far.
