Seen: Tessar Lo – Future Perfect

Tessar Lo’s opening for his Future Perfect solo at LeBasse Projects is going on as this is posted (4.11). The show is a very personal look at Tessar’s childhood as well as his quest to understand his identity as an individual. The new work is very much both a means for and a product of a personal search and examination. Enjoy the pics from the opening.

You appreciate Tessar Lo’s work even more when you see it in person! The colors are more vivid, the dimensions are bigger, and the details are just perfect. Even better are the emotions one feels when seeing his works in person.

Tessar’s installation was amazing; seeing his characters and some elements in his paintings realized in 3-dimensions!

He was even kind enough to draw in my sketchbook! All in all, a great show from a great artist!
