Seen: Subtext grand opening

Our friends at Subtext opened their new gallery space in San Diego last week with Frank Rogozienski’s Picture a Day project. The crowd was plentiful, and the vibe was positive and exciting all night. They doubled the size of our space, and even managed to have outdoor space to book a band for the evening.

Photographer Frank Rogozienski’s started 366 | 08 his “Picture A Day” project in January of this year. His goal? Simply capture 366 images (it’s a leap year) one day at a time. So far, he’s done just that. From back alleys, to portraits, to cityscapes, to dead flies, he’s managed to capture (and feature) a single image each day on his blog. His work isn’t done yet, he still has a few months left, and we’re anxious to see how it all comes together.
