Spanish Artist Emilio Subirà better known as Emilio Sick explores the depths of human emotion with his powerful sculptures that balance a journey into the macabre with a humorous outlook. It’s often said that true art is work that people care about, that provokes a reaction – be it love or hate. We agree with that concept. Emilio’s work is certainly provocative and head turning, and in our humble opinion worth watching.

Emilio will present a set of sculptures and figurines for his solo, A La Atenciòn De Nadie (To the Attention of No One), which opens on November 7th at Atticus Gallery in Barcelona, Spain. While the figurines are pretty nice, the sculptures are the clear highlights – at least for this blogger.
